The Unfinished Story
[This poem is dedicated to Nandu Mahadeva from Kerala, a Cancer fighter who tried to spread positivity with a smile to innumerous cancer patients] Survivor o f a sporadic disease; He liked to call himself a fighter!! Panic and fear had overwhelmed him, At the revelation of his medical reports A pestilence, a cancer, odd and seldom; Even the remedial science bowed down to. Overcoming this shock, he ascended in valour Dedicated his life he did, to bring positivism to all those, Whose lives’ burning candles were dimming out!! This monster of a disease, snatched away his leg, Slowly engulfing in him, like a creeper wild. Yet, valiant he stood upright with a buoyant smile And be the catalyst of Faith and Hope, To all the passengers of the sinking boats. But Alas!! Fate did not stand by him As he bid adieu to the world, this youth With no goodbyes said, just a Story Unfinish...
