Beena's Thoughtpourri

Drabble Story: A writing in 100 words; depicting the author's ability to write in brief and ability to express interesting and meaningful ideas in a confined space. “Hey….What’s up” a message pops up on my Whatsapp from my daughter.  My heart starts pounding for the simple reason that such seldom benevolent messages are usually followed by argumentative requests. “All good….what happened?” was my anxious response, expecting yet another one of those impermissible demands. Strangely, these stress bombs are shot privately only to Moms while Dads enjoy the stress free Television binging.  “MOMMMM…..just checking on you….What is your problem….Sheesh” This followed by exchange of hard feeling by both parties. Pause and Whatsapp goes silent for the next few days. Daddy dear still oblivious to any such anxieties, but definitely stressed out on the poor batting rate of India in the Test Series. But going by the motherly instincts I am still pretty assured, that the magnanimous WhatsApp mess
