My Car

Like I told you, I have this intense bonding with all these things I use and is a regular in my daily life.  Funny and hysterical as it may sound when people talk about their special bonding with special people in their life, I somehow develop the same feelings towards the non-living that plays a pivotal role in my life to the extend I give them an identity as I mentioned in one of my previous write up.

So let me introduce you to this dashing, sleek yet a muscle boy - my silver colored Mitsubishi car. It was the year 2006, when the most sought after silver card - The Driving License, was handed over to me. Hundreds of Congratulatory messages and calls poured in eventually ending with "So when are you buying a car and which one" Then there were these worldly-wise who made their contributions on which would be the best car with regards to longevity, petrol consumption, re-sale value and what more.

The decision made, we decided to visit the showroom to select my chariot to be. All stood there in various colors and shapes polished and shining like the finale round of Mr Universe to be crowned soon. And there he was in a silver shining Armour with a cloak - a silver colored Mitsubishi Lancer with a spoiler, like a wing to fly me. Love at first sight, we decided to start our journey together. As we celebrate our 14 years of togetherness with a few bickering here and there, we still enjoy those long drives together with loud music.
