My First Blog Post

When I decided to write this Blog, I had no clue whatsoever on how to go about it. Not because I was alien to the subject, but because I am not a very sophisticated reader or writer myself who read only high end literature or books with heavy text which literally needs a dictionary to be understood.

But then I felt I could reach out to those comradeship of society who shared my likes. I am pretty sure there are many out there who like to slouch back on those comfy cushions and just browse through some lucid writing.

Having said that, I definitely look up to icons with such innate abilities with language.  Been born to one such icon, my father, is probably where the seed to my love to write was sown. So I thought of giving shape to my writing through this Blog and take you on a virtual tour of my world of Imaginative Thoughts, Poems, and some thoughtful writing.

I am open to opinions, suggestions and criticism; I believe these are the ingredients that maketh a writer. So dear readers, please drop in your comments or a Thumbs Up if you like my write ups.

We landed in the beautiful God's Own Country - Kerala, on Saturday in July 2011. As per the well laid out schedule for our vacation, first on our agenda was to meet Prince, a little five year old from the SOS Village in the small town of Trichur. STAY HOME - On a lighter note

With Corona - the Pandemic having created a frightening and paralyzing environment, the whole world chanting the mantra "STAY HOME", I thought of staying home and penning down something on a lighter note essentially for a few moments of distraction. When celebrities around the world are utilizing the Stay Home time due to the engulfing Corona Virus, rejuvenating their hidden or more appropriate to say forgotten talents like artwork, playing the guitar or even practicing yoga and much more; I decided to re-visit my no-talent zone of Chapathi Making ( Round Indian wheat bread). I am sure there are a lot of raised eyebrows specially from my Asian viewership, chapathi being one of the staple diets in any Indian household, it should come but natural to any born in an Indian household.
